As the industrial food production processes become more complex, companies are coming up with specialized products to ensure that there is no contamination between halal and non-halal items. In a first a British company has come up with halal certified boots and apron for abbatoirs and food industry.
Raven Tactical Wear, a Britain based company, said that this first time ever that such a product has entered the market. The boots are made up of natural rubber and have several safety features including anti-slip.
Both products have been certified by a Malaysia based certification organization.
